The Morgan Foundation’s New Zealand River Awards 2015 take place tomorrow night. This year the spotlight goes on nitrogen and farming.

Ron Pellow of SIDDC has been showing us how dairy farmers can reduce their environmental impact while maintaining profit. The approach is known as low intensity farming, which actually puts the focus on farming grass.

In this final video Ron gives his view on how New Zealand farming will respond to an increased focus on improved water quality. Will they stay profitable as regulation is put in place?
