Reducing CO2 what’s fair for NZ? – Whiteboard Friday

With the Paris climate change conference on we’ve been talking about the Government’s relatively weak emissions reduction target. They have justified this on the basis that this target will cost New Zealand more, but over this week we have seen how those costs have been exaggerated, how their tactics are cheating based on our previous lack of action and how even if we believe the Government’s costings they pale in comparison to other challenges.

During the discussion, some people have asked what we think a “fair” target would be, and this Whiteboard Friday is our response.
