Gareth is on the road at the moment but has taken the time to respond to some of the criticisms of the campaign to change our flag. Our current flag isn’t sacrosanct, in fact history shows it was made up on the spot when we were a British colony. It hasn’t been reviewed despite the fact that we have matured into a fully independent nation with our own unique identity. Gareth also reflects on what the current flag symbolises to him, and what our flag should ideally symbolise.
