Petition for Swimmable Rivers going to Parliament

Gareth MorganEnvironment

Over summer the Choose Clean Water campaign toured the country, collecting stories about fresh water and gathering signatures for a petition to Parliament. In this Face to Face video we talk to Marnie Prickett – one of the inspirational young people involved in the campaign – about swimmable rivers, how much it costs, and why we need it.

The Choose Clean Water campaign will present their petition to Parliament at 1pm on 29th March. They have already collected over 10,000 signatures and are aiming for 15,000. You can sign their petition and have your voice heard here.
