Lots of people like the idea of an Unconditional Basic Income (UBI), but can we afford it as a nation?

In this Whiteboard Wednesday Geoff looks at the three parts of the Big Kahuna package – Unconditional Basic Income, Flat Tax and Comprehensive Capital Income Tax – and sets out how the numbers add up.

There are lots of different combinations of UBI and tax rates that could make it work, but in this video we just look at the one which is closest to where we are now.
